Four steps

  1. Get Muse on iPhone or Android, or open muse.ai/join on a computer.
  2. Create the account. A phone number, an email, or your existing Facebook or Instagram login all work.
  3. Head to Settings, General, Redeem invite code, and paste J8WXG8.
  4. Confirm it. The tokens are listed under Usage as Additional tokens.

Where Muse works in the US

Meta's launch announcement listed iOS, Android and muse.ai. You can also message Muse in WhatsApp, which is handy if you'd rather not install another app. There's also a Mac app, which Meta released before Connect.

Muse keeps working after you close the app and comes back to you when it needs a yes or no. When you pay for something through it, checkout can go through Link by Stripe.

What changed at Connect

A couple of weeks after launch, Meta used its Connect 2026 event to add a proper voice mode and let the Mac app control other apps on your computer. It also listed new shopping connectors, including Walmart, Best Buy, Sephora and Wayfair, with Instacart for groceries. Shop Pay and PayPal were added for payments.

US questions

Can I use Muse on Android in the US?

Yes. Meta's launch post said Muse was rolling out in the US on iOS, Android and the web at muse.ai.

Can I talk to Muse in WhatsApp?

Yes. Meta says you can message Muse directly in WhatsApp as well as in the Muse app.

What did Meta add after launch?

At Connect 2026 Meta announced a voice mode, computer use in the Mac app, and more shopping and work connectors. It also said Muse is coming to its AI glasses and will get its own email address.

The app says the code reached its limit. Now what?

That code is used up. Get a code from a friend who uses Muse and redeem theirs, as long as you're still inside your 48 hours.

Will Muse buy things without asking?

Meta says Muse checks with you before sensitive actions, and making a purchase is one of the examples it gives.
